An Coimisiún Toghcháin recommended 174 TDs across 43 constituencies in its boundary review last year. This is an increase of 14 in comparison with the previous Dáil Éireann boundaries. In its review, the commission said that it explored different scenarios with up to 181 TDs, but that it found a sweet-spot at 174.
With the help of tally data, Ireland Votes has compiled the results and tallies of the 2020 election to visualise the performance of parties in the new boundaries.
